Alrighty , let´s " kick things off with an ichigo update yeey

Epic Ichigo Shaken prep

Image
That´s right , it´s shaken time and with shaken time also comes shaken preparation , which means making the car a tad bit more legal . Starting off with something pretty obvious , new wheels ? Well yes but actually no . These wheels i again stole from my uncles wheel collection ( pls don´t kill me thanks) . But why , the RG-II´s were looking a lot better . I agree , BUT .... the rear wheels were pretty big and agressive aaaaaaaand.... due to that , they were poking quite a bit out ( even from the 326 power overfenders ) with also quite of a aggressive stretch on the tyre , which means they were " dangerous " and legal ( not really ) . And that´s why i´ve decided to borrow these ( much weaker spec) RE30´s just for the shaken inspection . I also raised the ride height on the back of the car , raised the tyre pressure on all 4 corners just to pass the 80mm limit . But wait ! There´s more !
Image
Not only we adjusted the ride height and installed a lot smaller , weaker spec wheels to eliminate the wheel poke . We also made the car a lot more quieter than it actually is by installing a special exhaust flange and totally blocking off my external wastegate ! OH AND I ALMOST FORGOT , peep the brand new little HKS Airfilter , looks so gooooooddd AAAAAAA. The S15 is finally coming together !

The next day , Friday 10/7/2019 7 :25AM
Well , it´s finally here , S H A K E N tiem !

After a quite LOOONGG ( but comfy cuz Mitsubishi Fuso Canter ) ride in a truck with Ichigo loaded in the bacc we finally arrived in Gunma Light Motor Vehicle Inspection Organization , Godaimachi, Maebashi Shi, Gunma ! While my uncle went to sign a B U N C H of papers for me i decided to
unload the S15 off the loader truck and buy myself a nice cold Georgia T H E premium coffee to spice up my time waiting for my uncle to finish off the paperwork . After a few ( quite a lot ) minutes of slowly slurping my morning coffee , he finally came back with all the papers and the Ichigo shaken inspection should begin ! After a few hours of testing the Shaken was FINALLY OVER and guess what ...... my Ichigo PASSED THE INSPECTION YAAAAAAAAAAYYYY !!!

Image

Right after we arrived back home at my uncles shop we immediately started to work on the ichigo and putting everything to
it´s "original state ", ( Maybe even better H I H E ) and also installing a brand new set of wheels - 18´´ Work Emotion CR-Kai A.K.A Kiwami´s that i´ve traded for the set of RGII that came with the car .

ImageImage
With these wheels the ichigo def wouldn´t pass the inspection but FUCK it looks so good .
Now the only thing the Ichigo needs is paint ( fingers crossed
that she´s gonna
get painted this week ) and some coilover adjustments to eliminate the " Meihan spec" ride height H I H E

Image

These wheels def fit the car a lot better and also fills up the huge fender gap pretty nicely too !
So , shaken inspection passed , new wheels acquired , registration when ? ? ? I really hope that i´ll be able to register her this week but god damn , Japan loves their paperwork SOOO MUCH .
And the last thing on the bucket list of making the car not only street legal but also looking presentable on the streets is a fresh coat of paint to paintmatch all the bodypanels . :)
SR20DET HKS Super Power Flow Reloaded Air Filter with Yellow filter foam - 120V$
Well , that´s everything for today , thanks for checking in and i´ll see you next time !

SR20DET HKS Super Power Flow Reloaded Air Filter with Yellow filter foam - 120V$
149 581.80V$ - 120V$ = 149 461.80V$

Weekly paycheck - 940V$
149 461.80V$ + 940V$ = 150 401.80V$

Well actually not registered yet , she´s just legal now lmao . Hmmm street drifting , don´t know that H I H E . Actually i didn´t know that but thank you for the information , well , even tho they look pretty fucking good , they gotta go lmao . I´m not the biggest fan of the kiwami design , maybe T7R´s or something like that would look much better on the car ?:)
