Hello guys. After 3 years I'm glad to be back on the forum.
For the ones who don't know me this is my old build thread > CLICK
The end of 2017 was a crazy period of time for me,meaning that I needed to leave my home country Romania and move to a new one (Germany) with my girlfriend. Now I live in Hallbergmoos,Bavaria.
I kept the Integra registred in Romania for the moment because the insurance is too expensive here, but in the future I will registry it here in Germany.

Long story short: back on the forum again !

Some technical stuff about the car:
- 215,000 kms (192.000 kms when I bought it)
- 2.0 K20
- manual 6 speed
- Custom roll-cage - Mugen replica
- front - AP Racing 6P calipers & Brembo ventilated discs 332mm
- back - AP Racing 4P calipers & Brembo ventilated discs 278mm
- BC Racing Coilovers
- PUR LG01 + Toyo R888 semi-slick

Pitures:

Unfortunately for me,I had to cancel my VR6 Turbo Project, although it was pretty close to a finish.
All the mechanical stuff was complete, and only the electrics,ECU and the mapping was left to be done.
Here are the last shots before I sold it >

For the moment I'm using the Honda as a daily, but I'm looking forward to buy a new project car.

No need to take it down, because we have no snow here ...
This winter was more like a fall, with heavy rain.

I wasn't there when you were in the forums back then, so hello and welcome back! Man I love your DC5 soooo much, I'm a huge fan of track builds and your DC5 is spot on for track use :D Well I know you're aiming for Kanjozoku style after reading your old thread progress, but I guess you might know ex-Kanjo drivers still uses their cars as trackday cars at times. Most Kanjo cars emulates touring car racing styles after all. And then there's the fact that you're living in Germany, where there are a hell lot of racetracks around the country ;) (okay, I know there are only Oschersleben, Norisring and Nurburgring Nordschleife for SLRR, and Norisring is a street circuit so that's also off the list. Both Oschersleben and Nordschleife requires 6 hours drive from where you are)

Looking forward to see the DC5 in action and to see your new project car! :D

And about the finances, I can help you a little bit:

I kinda gave up to the idea of Kanjozoku, but I still do prefer the time-attack look.I'm looking forward this summer for a trackday for sure.Haven't decided yet where I'll go,but I will see.

Hello guys.

A bit late in the night, but I come with a small update for the Integra, and with big news: new project car starting from tomorrow.
I just bought it today,made the paperworks,and tomorrow it arrives.It is a BMW E39 3.0 petrol (M54B30) in a pretty good condition,non-M,some 19" wheels and a really nice interior.
But more about the new car tomorrow. For the moment just a quick picture with the Integra:

Damn! Crazy that you still own the same car - most people here switch cars like they switch clothes. Definitely looks a lot meaner now than when you first got it!

I know I'm expecting a great gem, well done on the purchase! :D It looks quite healthy despite the internal problems. Surely a comfy thing to drive with ;)

E39s are great cars, can't wait how you build it up! It was pretty expensive given that it doesn't have TUV and you have a V$1000 fix still to do but at least the body looks super clean. How come the control arms have to be replaced?

When I said it was cheap, was because of the body and the interior condition. And also the engine is pretty good except of the starter.TUV will not be a problem.
And yes,I'm replacing everything bc this is how I do stuff. The problem it's on one control arm,and some of the bushings are old,but I prefer to change the entire kit.

Hey guys. Some little updates for the bimmer:
- ordered 2 front fenders
- ordered this kit
- ordered also oil and filters

Monday I'm going to remove the starter to see what it's the problem(sometimes it doesn't start the engine unleas you hit it with a hammer).I suspect the collector coals are worn out,or the rotor locks up sometimes.

'sup guys?
Long day today.I've managed to fix the starter(worn out collector coals),changed the oil and filters, test fitted the new fenders and bonus > second-hand M5 OEM mirrors.
Also,I removed the ugly smoked out fog lights and put some simple plastic covers.
