My name is Matthew, and I live in Romania. in a small city called Piatra-Neamt. 2 yrs ago i moved in Okazaki, Japan. When I got my first salary, i was already dreaming about how would my life be in Japan. I was 5yrs old when i discovered my love for cars, and when i moved to Japan i felt like the luckiest person alive. i needed to take my mind off JDM cars, beacuse my financial status 2yrs ago wasn't helping me at all. I got a job at a mechanic, who later was the man who made me believe that dreams come true. After months and months of work, it was time to get a car. I was struggling to fin a cheap, yet working, one, but one day, the mechanic saw how desperate I am to find a car, so he found one for me. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw that he got me a: Nissan ECR33.

*i know that the car has GB plates, it's still a W.I.P*

Specifications: 2.0L, NA SR20, it had a sport air filter, but it was filthy, and removed it. The headers need some work, and ,maybe in the future, a turbo.
Adjustable Struts, Front and Back
Proxes Stretched tires: Status:70%
Key's Racing Race Steering Wheel
LED R34 style Taillights, and Retrofitted Headlights
Brembo 6 Piston brakes

*the car had a minor crash, it was sitting outside the driveway, and a guy with an ATV slid into it*

*i'm looking forward into buying some OEM rims to drive it without risking damaging those beauties*

*it needs some weight reduction, and -maybe- a rollcage*

*and it needs a repaint ASAP. I'm waiting for suggestions on what color should i do it.

OwO ayyy welcome man i saw that you already read the guides so not gonna link you them i guess. UwU another japanese guy nicey, that 33 looks really stylish what a nice guy to find you it. I remember my sr20 sky it was really fun to drive although it was a turbo'ed one. About the rear bumper you shouldn't worry too much you can fix it easily i think or just missile it and not care. As for the color maybe like a shade of blue? And for rims you can buy ce28's with continental tires with like 90% thread from me for ¥54,526 or some other things in here just dm me and we'll sort everything out. Also for weight reduction you don't really need it if you don't plan to go full drift spec, it's nice to have some sound deadening. A rollcage is a good choice if you wanna tandem with guys, some tracks require it in the higher classes and also any cash put into safety is a well spent cash.

Anyways welcome to the community, you're officially the part of the family now! :D
That's quite a detailed intro and a great start, well done and keep it up! :)

Coincidentally, there's another Romanian starting his Japanese adventure as well here, so there you go, you've scored yourself an instant comrade

Thanks a lot, NotPerfect, for selling me great stuff!!
As you guys saw in the previous photos, the car was not in a very good shape, and it still isn't, but thankfully enough, fella NotPerfect, helped me a lot with minor/major stuff.
--- I have got new wheels from him, to not scratch the other ones, because they are more shiny than this R33's whole future(and now, less camber, and more ride height, because i couldn't even get in the driveway properly) ---
--- I have ordered a "new" engine, a Black Top SR20DET, bone-stock Turbo doing 344HP to the Flywheel at 7350rpm, and 4xx lb of Torque. Bigger intercooler, for better cooling, and better performance ---
( hopefully i'll achieve, someday, the 320 km/h mark on the dash, pray for me ;)
--- I managed to repair (by myself) the rear bumper, but unfortunately, from the sun, the paint now looks worse. ---

Who knows what this car's future sounds like, maybe it's just a new Dual Exit Exhaust, or a new BodyKit (hints, hints)

--- The rear bumper still looks bad, but not dented anymore --- (screw you, ATV guy!)

The wheels!!

--- If you guys would like another wheel/lugnut combination, feel free to suggest it ---

Welcome aboard man! Nice R33 you got there, might look a bit rough for now but then you can not worry so much when taking it to the track. ;) SR20 swap is pretty interesting too, it can still make a ton of power so it's ok. I used to have a SR20 swapped R32 and it was so fun to drive! CE28s fit so well on it too, good luck with the build!

uwu glad you like the rims they do suit the car and gj on the rear bumper told ya it's an easy fix haha as for the color combo no clue, maybe paint the car first and then see how it works with rims, might not even need to paint the wheels you never know.

Thanks a lot, man! I sure looks rough at first glance, but for me, the engine matters the most for now. It doesn't really need any major bodykit or smth, it just needs a respray, and maybe some little details. I did the SR20 swap because the RB that it had was very faulty, and the SR was a acceptable engine, for an acceptable price for me. And the power is plenty! I will sure make a beast out of this baby!

Small update! Bought some parts.(they come in a week or so)
I have bought some visual parts, to make the car look a little more "street legal", and to complete the little gaps that make the car look incomplete. I have bought:
Some overfenders to make the car a little wider, a hood and a grille, and a new spoiler to make the car a little bit more aerodynamic, and enhance the looks of the car.
I know i said something about a repaint, and more stuff, but i'll make sure and make those things happen by the end of this month, or even more. The next update is later this week, and i'm gonna be installing the new engine!

Well! It's time for the new engine! I couldn't resist and I put more pressure in the turbo! stock it was like close to 1.00bar, now it's 1.80bar, and still got no problems at all. You'll see in the photos the aftermath of trying a topspeed record with the new SR20. The test was succesful, but with a little bit of damage i managed to get close to 290km/h!!!!
This new engine is: a black top (just a spray) SR20DET
---it has huge pipes that go to the intercooler, a stock Garrett T28 turbo, and it makes 407hp/327nm torque
Later this week the new visual parts will come, and I hope that they will make a difference!
BTW: I GOT THE CAR REGISTERED!! That's why I tested the car a little

I can't wait to get it resprayed, and I can't wait for my parts to arrive! The offset will be much better, and the car 80% I think will be white, or i'll keep this combination!
If someone has a boost gauge, i prefer the Defi one, but any gauge will be definetely a good choice!
(if anyone knows how i can put some stickers on the windows, it will be greatly appreciated!)

Nice R33 you got there. I was thinking maybe do a crimson red paintjob. And with those new parts coming in, that would make it a really nice car to take to those car meets. When I get my Ford Ka done, I'm taking it down to car meets, so maybe we can meet up. :D

You sure you went 290 with that thing? Anyway that must've been very sketchy and dangerous lmao. But i'm sure it was fun! Don't push too much boost on the SR20 with stock internals, it's not really built to last that. Engine problems aside, i can't wait for the new paintjob! I wonder what parts you got too.

(For the stickers, check the car's textures folder, i think there is a template for the windows. Then just put on the stickers you like and save the file as window_decals.png) ;)

You have a new engine and you pushed it to the max already? You absolute madman! How the hell it lasted twice the boost it's intended to be is just amazing. But eh, finally it's registered and it's officially legal to run! :D

Don’t push too much on the SR20, she is very delicate

Hey guys! I'll lower the pressure just to make sure nothing breaks, just like you said. I just put it to max, to test the top speed(with the stock SLRR physics, yes, 290 was the top speed of mine).

Dang bro! Goin 290 in a SR20 is pretty cool. Like they said and I am glad that you did it, put the turbo bar down. But overall, that R33 is coming along very nicely. I just got my drivetrain in and it should run. Maybe we could go for a drive very soon! :D
